As long as I can remember I have enjoyed colouring, painting, creating and trying to capture and convey the beauty that I see around me. Sometimes it is a flash of light or colour or memory… I use my own photos and always have my camera/phone with me because you never know what surprises are waiting. It’s not easy but when I am at my easel I am in my happy place.. I think half the fun is the striving to try and capture my feeling for that place or flower or moment. And if someone sees something in my painting that speaks to them and they want to live with it then I’m happy again!!
